Brixton is making his available page debut! He’s a handsome pied boy who was surrendered when his previous owners no longer had the time to properly care for his needs. We’re sure that Brixton will find a wonderful forever family in no time.
Brixton is a very sweet boy who loves to cuddle. He gets along well with his foster fur-siblings and has had no trouble meeting and interacting with dogs big or small. He’s also great with children and because he’s a more active Frenchie, we think he would really enjoy joining an active family.
With his affable personality and affectionate nature, Brixton is sure to bring happiness to his forever family. He is very playful and active and just lots of fun! In true Frenchie fashion, he has a stubborn streak, but generally he’s a very happy-go-lucky dog who loves stuffed toys and tennis balls.
Brixton happily goes into his crate and hasn’t had a single potty accident while in foster care. His foster family takes him outside frequently for potty breaks, and also makes sure that that he’s never left with free roam of the house while they are away. Even though he’s crate trained, Brixton shouldn’t regularly be crated for more than about 4 hours at a time.
A family with kids would be great for Brixton. A single person would also be great, but Brixton does love to play and will need daily activity. He’s an adaptable dog and transitioned really well to his foster home, so we think he’d do great in just about any type of home. A fenced yard isn’t required, but it is certainly preferred. Brixon doesn’t need a stay-at-home person, but he would need require a mid-day break from a dog-walker if his person was unable to pop-in at lunch. Brixton doesn’t love car rides and tends to drool quite a bit when he’s in the care. If you work close enough to home that you could walk (or if you can get past a drooly car ride), then Brixton would make a fantastic office companion!
A few words from foster mom, “Brixton is a playful clown. Loves to see people, play ball and likes kids. He has no trouble with the dogs in our house. He goes to school each day and has fun learning, albeit a little stubborn.”
If you think Brixton would be the perfect companion for your family, please apply today! Then get ready to plan a trip to Jersey as FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo. Except in rare or unusual cases, adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
Brixton has a history of urinary tract infections that must be monitored for recurrence.
Brixton looks so sweet! We would love more info @ him when he is ready to be adopted! -Tessa Kennedy
