OKLAHOMA 10 PUPPYMILL
The rescue angels who collected money and went undercover to purchase Frenchies at the Oklahoma Auction may have been sent from heaven, but their pocketbooks were very much earthbound. As much as they would have liked to purchase and save every Frenchie on the block that day, they knew they could not. They made a pact before going in that they would spend what they had collected and then stop, no matter what.
Lucky for Walli, their resolve slipped a little bit at the end. Nearly out of money and heads spinning, they made a snap decision to try for one more and figure out how to pay later. A big cream boy with floppy ears, just a year old, somehow managed to cut through the chaos, dirt and noise and send them a signal, quiet at first, then louder. "Take me...Take me! TAKE ME!!!"
They bid. And won. Walli the flop-eared Frenchie got on the rescue train just as it was pulling out of the station.
Walli and his friends are out of the puppy mill but they aren't out of the woods. The cost to keep, treat, and care for them until they are ready for their forever homes will likely go beyond their original price tags. Please sponsor these dogs and keep the rescue train going, full steam ahead!
