Vinny came to FBRN under some of the most emotional possible circumstances. A health crisis in his family precipitated Vinny's surrender to us. Vinny is 4 - 5 years old, neutered, slightly plump, and has the most lovely honey-colored coat imaginable.

Vinny has a history of allergies and chronic ear infections, and is now on a raw, grain-free diet to help relieve these issues. He has previously been allergy tested, but due to her illness, his mom was never able to treat him with antigens. He also hasn't received heartworm preventative or his titers since last year.

Vinny is aggressive with large male dogs, but reportedly gets along well with other frenchies and his 7 year old Boxer sister. He can be wary of strangers, but has never bitten anyone. In the past, he tried to display dominance over his owner by standing on her chest on the couch. Wisely, she got advice from a trainer and began the "nothing in life is free" program, which improved Vinny's behavior. Unfortunately, she reports that he has been acting up again as her health has declined.
