Little Miss Petunia Pig goes by "Tuney" to all her friends. She is an 18 pound, 1 year-old white Frenchie. This sweeter-than-sugar dumpling came to us by way of a wonderful vet in Arkansas. Tuney is deaf, and her original owners brought her in to be euthanized. The vet asked if she could rehome her instead. So after Tuney had a full tune-up at the vet's office, she called FBRN to find the best home for her.
"Tuney is house trained and crate trained and is not fazed by anything," says her foster mom. We know many deaf dogs that live full and wonderful lives. Some of them even learn hand signals for things like "sit" and "down" and "Who wants a belly rub?" and all the other things we say to our dogs. Tuney is still a young pup so we hope she'll pick up on this new lingo quite well. Can you help her along as she learns something new? Click on her photo and make a donation for Little Miss Tuney. |
