Who doesn’t love Tickles? Tickles always bring giggles and smiles and laughter and fun, and that’s exactly what this Tickles has in store for us, too! Tickles was surrendered to FBRN because her previous home didn’t feel they had the time to devote to her. We’re happy to have this sweet, special girl, and we know she can find the perfect home that will want nothing more than to shower her with love and affection.
When Tickles joined our family, she had infected ears and itchy skin. After going to the vet, she is being treated for all of her yuckies and is well on the road to recovery. What makes Tickles special is that she is deaf. Although there are some extra things to keep in mind with a deaf dog, they make wonderful, loving pets, and Tickles is no exception. She loves to be in your lap and especially loves to give kisses--lots and lots of precious Frenchie kisses. Tickles doesn’t much like being alone and will bark nearly non-stop if left in her crate. She adores going for walks and will be waiting at the door for you any time she thinks you might be up for a stroll.
Tickles prefers to have her person in view at all times, and if she hasn’t noticed her foster mom has left the room, she’ll quickly seek her out. Because she is used to a doggy door, Tickles is adjusting a bit to the new routine, but she’ll have it down pat in no time.
Tickles is only somewhat interested in other dogs and doesn’t really seem to know what to do with toys. As she learns her new life, we know new facets of her personality will come out. For now, she’s just a sweet snuggler who wants nothing more than to be loved.
