Introducing the new boy on the block—THEO! He is 18 pounds of total cuteness, and already he’s breaking hearts. Theo was picked up by animal control as a stray in Las Vegas and was never claimed. FBRN was happy to take him in to help him find the perfect forever home. At one time, someone must have cared for this little man very much. For a stray, his coat is in surprisingly good condition, and he doesn’t look too thin.
The shelter where Theo had his brief stay contacted us because the veterinarian there suspected he might have a soft palate issue, and there may be something wonky with his knees. He also has an old wound on his back toe where he has torn off his toenail, and he has some scarring in his ears from past ear infections. He will see the vet in short order to check all of these things out and to make sure he gets off to a new fresh start.
So far, Theo has done well with the other dogs in his foster home, showing interest, desire to play, and even doing some snuggling! Not bad for the new kid! Theo is very quiet and submissive, so it is likely he will get along well with other pets. He’s a young guy at about 2 years old, and he’s a precious little cream guy. He has already been neutered since coming into FBRN, and he is being spoiled like a Frenchie prince should be. |
