Rockye and Bullwinkle are two very sweet boys who had traveled a long way only to live lives of inattention. Both boys were brought from Germany by their previous owners and were unceremoniously dumped in a backyard where they have lived neglected for the last four years; starved for food and human companionship and deprived of even the most basic veterinary care.
They will be spending time in their foster home OD’ing on love, couch snuggling and belly rubs. Their foster mom will be taking them to see a bulldog specialist as they have a few health problems that need to be addressed. Oozing sores, bald patches, chronic ear infections and hematomas are just the tip of the iceberg with these two. Their foster mom reports that her biggest challenge will be in their housebreaking skills. Rockye and Bullwinkle had been outdoor frogs, unconcerned with when and where they pee, so there have already been a number of accidents – car seats, crates, ex-pens, flooring. Their foster mom has her work cut out for her but we’re confident that all of them will come through with flying colors!
