The adoring fans of Ringo our Star have requested an update on our handsome, devilish, svelte guy of the FBRN FAB 28. Yes, we now have 28 fabulous frenchies on our Foster page for your viewing pleasure.

Please note Ringo has made some progress in many areas, but we still feel he is in need of additional direction and guidance offered by one of the FBRN foster moms who specializes in difficult frenchies.

Ringo is suffering from a second bout of Pyoderma and is following a regimen of antibiotics for another 3-4 week period. He's feasting on an all natural, grain-free diet supplemented with antihistamines. We hope the change in diet and addition of medications will help control his allergies. There is a strong indication that his allergies will be an issue for the remainder of his life. You may remember that Ringo originally weighed 32 pounds? Well, to date he has lost 3 pounds, which accounts for the swooning of the female frenchie in his foster home. His weight is perfect, his coat shiny and healthy, and with his drop-dead gorgeous looks, it's easy to see why our Star rates number one!

He has admirers of both the canine and human persuasion. However, Ringo has proven to be quite particular in who is allowed into his social circle. He loves his foster mom, petsitter and one close friend of the family. He is not so easily impressed with, or is even very nice in his reaction to strangers. Perhaps the result of spending so many hours alone early in his life have made him quite independent, allowing only approved people in his company. This independence has allowed Ringo to find comfort in solitude. He may be left alone for a few hours while he happily plays and entertains himself with a Nylabone or toy. Ringo will be observed by a professional trainer in an effort to understand and rectify his behavior. We would like Ringo to relax and join in the happenings around him rather than spending time alone.

His house manners are excellent. He is reliably housebroken and 100% non-destructive in his behavior in foster care. He has his own bedroom and dreams the day away snuggled amongst the throw pillows in the guest room (which now serves as Ringo's dressing room.) He loves cuddling, and belly rubs supplied each evening by his foster mom, and smooching the resident female frenchie each morning upon rising. He really is trying to be a good Star, but needs a little extra help and encouragement along the way. Could you please keep sending fanmail addressed to Ringo? It makes him happy knowing he is adored by so many..
