Update Jan 12: Rhett Butler has changed foster homes and is currently undergoing a temperament assessment. When we have completed it, we'll put Rhett back on the available page.
In honor of the recent passing of Ms. Scarlett, FBRN is thrilled to welcome Rhett Butler into the family. He is one of the Gulf Coast 10 who was originally going to be fostered by his rescuer. However, because of his labored breathing, she decided he would benefit more from being in FBRN's experienced care until he finds his forever home.
Rhett is an 18-month-old puppy that most likely hasn't lived in a house. He's making up for lost time by eagerly exploring his new foster home. His foster mom reports that she is putting Rhett on strict quiet time until he can learn to relax and pace himself. Rhett also has a little giddy up in his step because of how he holds out his back leg. Both his breathing issue and back leg will be thoroughly checked out by the vet in short order.
If you'd like to help FBRN with this Southern charmer's medical bills, please click on Rhett's picture. Because frankly, my dear, FBRN does give a darn. |
