Popeye has already stolen the hearts of many FBRN members, and we expect that the hearts of FBRN supporters will follow shortly.
This handsome boy is a sweetheart, but he is one big mess at the moment. His former owner made an impulse purchase on the street and has since realized that there was simply too much on her plate to take proper care of this brindle boy.
He appears to be mostly or perhaps entirely deaf, and is currently suffering from a raging ear infection. It is believed that his infection may be a byproduct of allergies, so he has been put on a special diet which will hopefully make a difference soon. On top of that, this poor boy has whipworm, hookworm, and tapeworm. No wonder he’s had trouble staying at his normal weight!
Popeye will need a lot of medical care and lots of love in the coming weeks. His foster home will also work on his separation anxiety. We have the requisite cuddling and loving covered, will you help us pick up the medical bills?
