Look out foster families! Pim has arrived! Pim is a very energetic 4 year old brindle boy who loves dogs, people of all shapes and sizes, dogs, car rides, dogs, squirrels….did we mention dogs? He drew the short straw on the decision of whether to give up the boisterous Frenchie or the new human baby. Seems that some think babies are more fun than high energy frogs, the die was cast, and Pim moved into his foster home.

Pim’s first vet visit was a roaring success. He captivated the staff with his eagerness to be in their presence and showered everyone with sloppy French kisses. He was also pronounced to be in very good health. Besides mildly luxating patellas, Pim is 100%. He’s at a healthy weight with no pesky boy parts that need removing. He does have a broken canine tooth from chewing on his crate when he was just a wee pup, but we think that gives him roughish charm. A tiny bit of dandruff is incidental and will be ironed out with some fish oil supplements while he’s in foster care.

Pim has been a champ with potty manners in his foster home! Mom reports he’s had not a single accident! He’s a smart frog who is very responsive to basic commands. He loves to be outside and gets really excited to see squirrels, birds, people…and especially other dogs. Pim goes into a wild squeaking, hopping, pulling frenzy to meet another dog. He has so far shown a less than charitable interest in his kitty foster siblings so we think it may be safe to say that felines will be persona non grata in Pim’s forever home.

Despite his go! go! go! appearance, Pim does know how to enjoy some good couch time. His foster mom says he can snore with the best of them and he’s a big fan of the emphatic snort. You will have no question whether Pim is feeling wronged, bored or just plain disagrees with you.

Who can look at an adorable, sweet mug such as Pim’s and not feel the urge to dig deep into their pockets? Even our healthy frogs need supplies. Can you spare something for a peanut butter Kong? Or perhaps a good harness for when Pim gets a good pull going on those wild walks. We promise…Pim will be extra excited over any care packages he receives.
