Perseus is an all powerful Frenchie who tends to want to protect his people, and sometimes their places. He loves other dogs but was sometimes "guardy" when human strangers came in to his doggy daycare. Perseus would prefer that a moat be constructed around his kingdom. We have explained to him that in this economy it's just not feasible. When Perseus was quite young, he bit a child who came into his home and he is (in general) nervous and agitated around kids. Now Perseus is a big handsome four year old, and is a great big sweet lug with his people and his canine brethren in spite of his guard dog tendencies. In foster care we will work on "managing Perseus' expectations" and freeing him of his protection service responsibilities so he can live safely and happily in a kid-free forever home.
