Paizlee is one of four Indiana puppy mills dogs purchased by Good Samaritans and turned over to FBRN for re-homing. This former breeder is a darling pied with winning ways, and her foster family reports that she wasted no time in settling in like a pampered pro.
Initial medical reports revealed nothing catastrophic, though she does have breathing difficulty that will require surgery on her nares and possibly her palate. Paizlee is heartworm negative and all her other standard tests were normal, although she may have a urinary tract infection - further testing is underway. Paizlee is enjoying six small meals a day in an effort to plump her up a bit. As you can imagine, she sees this as a real hardship (HA!)
Paizlee could use your support to help pay some sizable veterinary bills so that she can find her way to her forever home in tip-top shape. She’s doing her part; can you pitch in to help? Just click on Paizlee’s sweet mug and make a PayPal pledge! |
