Good golly, little Ollie – you sure look cute to me! Ollie is a precious fawn Frenchie pup with an itchy, stinky case of demodectic mange. His former owner, overwhelmed with health problems of her own and unable to take care of Ollie's treatments, asked for FBRN's help. It's all good Ollie, we are glad to extend a helping paw.
Eleven months of puppiness, Ollie loves most everyone. This funny little pupper figured out how to play with the larger dogs in his foster home by standing on the couch to make up for his vertical challenge. The cats, who are his size, don't seem to want to play. (A perplexing problem he can't quite figure out.) He's a good eater and a good sleeper, and is even potty trained. He goes to the door to be let out; that's pretty smart for a little guy, we opine.
A trip to the vet confirmed Ollie's demodex diagnosis and he also has a bacterial skin infection which accounts for his odor. A course of treatment should do the trick and get this little froggy all shiny-slick. But we can't do it alone, folks. We definitely need your help. Drop some coins in the hat, if you please, to help make Ollie as good as new. A click on his picture to the right will do it, and we thank you so very much. |
