Little Mr. Stubbs is a charmer who motored around as a growing active Frenchie boy until one day he was accidentally dropped by his former family’s little girl. Obviously, he landed wrong and broke his elbow in two places. After several weeks of hobbling around and several office calls to the clinic for x-rays, his former family, who loved him very much, decided they just could not afford the surgery he needed to return to his once bouncy self. FBRN stepped in to help and arranged for all his care and will continue to support him until he is ready to charm his forever family into picking him and taking him home.

He has tons of energy and it will be a big task to keep this little guy calm and quiet while he rests his little leg—Mission Nearly Impossible for a 5 _ month old bouncing boy. On the other hand, it’s great to see how much he loves to play with other dogs, run and do his happy dance—even with his broken elbow.

He is smart and very obedient, but he will still need to go to puppy school and learn a few doggie ABCs. His little foster sister thinks he is the next best thing to cheese—maybe because they’re both pieds. She’s been warned not to teach him anything naughty while he chills out with her. Therefore, the two will just have to lie on the couch, chew bones and watch the 2010 Olympics while he mends.

This little frog will have to hang up his K9 skis for a few weeks. If you don’t mind sending a few bones his way while he’s relaxing [doctor’s orders—of course] and cheering on his Olympic team members—that would be real swell. You can click on his picture to send a little something for his recuperation!
