Major is a five year old neutered Frenchie that was surrendered to FBRN because of his allergies and aggression toward the other dogs in his home. His foster mom has slowly introduced him to her pack of Frenchies and Bostons (who go together like peanut butter and jelly, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, sailboats and sunsets and all those kinds of great combos) with no problems thus far. We are keeping a close watch on Major to better understand his personality.

After the first week, his foster mom says: “All the dogs do is play and run through the house at full speed. Major loves playing and roughhouses until he drops on the cool tile to recuperate. I ventured out with him to PetSmart for a new harness, where he, with a little coaxing, stayed right next to the cart. Major is a large boy, weighing in at 28.5 pounds--too small for a medium harness. His girth is about 28 inches!” We say -- Way to puff out that chest and show your Frenchie swagger, Major!

Major has a few minor health issues that we need to investigate: his allergies and a few irritated spots. If you could make a donation toward some anti-itch cream or hypoallergenic treats (just click the donation button on the left) he’d sure appreciate it!
