FBRN is tickled to introduce our newest little flower named Lotus. She and her brother were found wandering the streets by a very caring couple. They called FBRN in hopes of helping Lotus blossom into the beautiful Frenchie she's meant to be.
When Lotus came into foster care, she was promptly whisked off to the vet for some much needed attention. After examination, Lotus was diagnosed with a bacterial and yeast infection of the skin as well as infected ears. She is currently on antibiotics, steroids, ear drops and medicated baths twice a week. Lotus is already on her way to becoming a sweet smelling flower. Lotus is a tiny thing at only 15 lbs., so her foster mom will be working on putting some more weight on her. Lotus will also be working on her potty training and that it's okay to share her food and toys because there is aplenty in her new foster home. We suspect Lotus didn't have the easiest of lives before coming into our care.
Lotus will be learning to plant some roots while in foster care. In the meantime, this delicate blossom could use some much needed love and support. Please consider clicking on her lovely picture to donate towards her medical care. |
