Libellule is a precious girl who came into FBRN after being rescued by another group from a puppy mill situation. She has been adopted out twice and returned, apparently for lack of time and grumpiness with other dogs. Her name is French for dragonfly, and it fits her perfectly. Aside from being a symbol of good luck, the dragonfly is also full of energy and spirit. Libellule’s luck has certainly changed, as she can now get the care she needs to be ready for her forever home. She’s also an energetic little spitfire who has personality to spare. Libi, as she’s known in her foster home, is just a wonderful little love bug. She is super motivated by human affection and interaction, so she’s very eager to please.
Libi hasn’t really shown much of her dislike for other dogs in foster care yet, so we’ll keep on eye on that and see what she needs to be comfortable with canine companions. She seems to be in good shape physically, too. Like most puppy mill survivors, Libi has some potty issues that her foster mom will be working on with her. She is just a living doll, great with adults and kids alike. And she’s also a great car rider! We think Libellule has nothing but blue skies ahead of her, and we’re thrilled to be part of her journey. If you’d like to give a little something to help Libi on her way, please click on her picture to the right. Make sure to say that the donation is for Libellule! |
