Help us welcome Lexi to FBRN! This sassy blonde is taking an early retirement after spending her first few years as a breeder. Lexi is five years old and is ready to start leading a life of leisure and love. Lexi was surrendered with four other beautiful babies when their owner decided it was in their best interest to become family pets. They had been living in nice, air-conditioned runs, but they didn’t get the attention they deserved.
Lexi seems to be in good health so far, with one exception. Poor little girl has a UTI, which can be quite uncomfortable, so we’ll work on getting it fixed in a jiffy. Other than that, Lexi just needs to get on a regular exercise routine so she can slim down a wee bit and get back her girlish figure. Some nice walks and fun playtime with her foster siblings ought to be just the ticket!
Lexi is finding that she just adores grass and loves to roll and roll around in it, letting the sensation tickle her all over. She is a spunky, happy, curious little girl with a sparkle in her eye and a spring in her step, and she just craves human affection. She loves to be scratched on and loved, but she’s not so sure about being held or carried just yet. That will come with time as she grows accustomed to being a cherished family pet. Although people are Lexi’s absolute favorite, coming in a close second are TOYS! She loves them, loves them all!
So far, she has been polite to the resident elderly Frenchie girl in her foster home, and she even tried to play a bit, even if she doesn’t quite know how. As she remains in foster care, she’ll be introduced to more pups and see how that all goes. It’s important to take it slowly with Lexi since almost everything is a new experience for her.
