Sad, sad Leroy Brown – the cutest guy in the whole dang town. Leroy is a deserving frog who is having a time of it. He thought he had found his perfect forever home, with a loving couple who had experience in dealing with the idiosyncrasies of bully breeds. But now he is the product of a broken home. His parents are splitting up, and neither one feels they have the time to take care of Leroy alone.
A puppy mill rescue who needed neck surgery, this is Leroy’s third time with FBRN. He is a loving, wonderful Frenchie who is very people centered, but he does require strong leadership to be successful. Unfortunately, in his first adoptive home the couple did not have the skills needed. He guarded his mom and bit his dad. Given the old heave-ho by dad, he came back to us. We thought we had found another great home with a couple who had the commitment to provide him with a secure home. But here we go again for Leroy, through no fault of his own at all.
One of our dedicated foster parents braved a snowstorm to bring Leroy back into FBRN. When the weather became too bad to continue on, the two fellas camped out in a motel. Leroy was a trooper and a good travel companion through the ordeal, which included a search for kosher food to eat – crackers and Haagen Dazs, anyone?
Soon, we will start the search again for a really, truly committed forever home for Leroy. He deserves it! A little something to help him on his way would be much appreciated. Please click on his picture to the right to donate.
