This 6 year-old spice girl came to us as a breeder surrender. Kellie has been bounced around a bit. What she really needs is some sweet, sugary love to smooth out the rough edges that helped her survive as a breeding mama.

She is a bit scared, a bit needy and very unsure of what a family is all about. Will you love me? Did I do something wrong? Oh, I'm really sorry! Will you still love me? Promise?

Above all, Kellie is just plain sweet and loving. She is cautious with other dogs and can be aggressive with males (wouldn't you be after 6 years of having to guard your food and sleeping place?) Since arriving in foster care she has really blossomed. She is learning to play with her foster siblings and even thinks the mailman is cool! He brings her treats - hey, you gotta love a guy like that! She is active, happy and trying hard to learn "sit" and "stay". It's just so darn tough when there is so much to do!

This jaunty little girl has no health issues and revels in her afternoon snoozes and her trips outside to do zoomies around the yard. She has the biggest, sweetest brown eyes and her little pink tongue sticks out most of the time. Kellie likes older children, though she might be too rough and tumble for the younger set. She is good on a leash and when off leash comes when called. Crate trained and housebroken (ain't that sweet!) Kellie's only big issue is security. She needs consistency and reassurance. Please love me and I will be very good! Honest!
