Jocko was born in Budapest and lived stateside in a home with another Frenchie and an American bulldog. Intact until the age of three, Jocko developed some issues with the American bulldog, which escalated to the point where nobody was having any fun anymore. His owner made the difficult decision to surrender him to keep the peace and protect his safety.

In foster care he is slowly being introduced to other dogs, and so far he met a Tibetan terrier in doggy day care who doesn’t bug him in the least. Next he will be tested with dogs his own size, and then if he does well, the big boys. He’s getting lots of good exercise to burn off energy and is doing well, though he is still a little lonely and confused about the unexplained changes in his life.
