After a fabulous day of play and fun, Jagger lay down in his crate and passed away. Please send good thoughts to his foster mom and surrendering family.
Meet Jager, one big shot of fabulous! Jager is a 3-year-old Frenchie boy whose heart and head are huge! He snores and breathes like a freight train, but it is sweet music to a Frenchie lover’s ears. Jager was surrendered due to lack of funds to continue to support him and his medical needs. His former owners had to move to a property that didn’t allow dogs, so Jager will be spending time in FBRN to sort him out and get him on the way to his forever home. __Jager has hip and spine issues that make it difficult for him to walk and go up stairs, however he does not appear to be in pain. He also suffers from closed stenotic nares and an elongated palate. His foster mom will be making sure that he gets the veterinary care he needs, but because he has some big issues (you know, to go with the big heart and big head), he will probably also have some big vet bills. His foster mom is already calling him the "Whizz Walker" because he sometimes 'whizzes' while he walks. She’ll also help him get that figured out so he won’t constantly be redecorating the room as he walks through.
Jager is just one of those great dogs. He has a winning personality, loves everyone he meets, and is a very attentive and obedient boy. He tries to play the best he can with the other three Frenchies in his foster home, but he does tire easily. We are hopeful that we can fix his hips a bit and then find him a good loving home that will be happy to care for him into his senior years._ We know that you have all given a lot lately when there isn’t much to give. FBRN wouldn’t be able to save dogs if it weren’t for the loving support of the public. So here we are again, hat in hand, asking for a little more. If you can sponsor Jager, please click on his big ol’ head and make a donation. You’ll feel happier than if you’d had a little Jager(meister) yourself!
