Iris is another of the dogs rescued from puppy mill hell when law enforcement shut down the illegal drug distribution arm of the owners' business. With 60 other dogs, including pugs and bull terriers, 14 Frenchies were confiscated and delivered to a shelter. We picked up 12 of the 14 dogs, and 2 of them were adopted by shelter employees.

Iris, like Violet, is proving to be a conscientious and happy mom! She has 3 puppies, about 3-4 weeks old, and they are all growing like chubby weeds! The moms and pups are staying with an experienced Frenchie breeder and FBRN volunteer, so they are all simply thriving. Of course, like all the others, Iris is being treated for heartworm and parasites, but she has a lovely, grateful and inspiring approach to life! Everything is beautiful! Everything is fun! The world is a great place!
