Our new friend Higgs is stepping up to the podium to accept his award for cutest brindle Frenchie in this week’s foster roster. He’d like to thank his owner for surrendering him even though it was hard for her to do so. And he’d like to thank FBRN for giving him a chance to start over again in a great foster home.

Higgs was not getting along with an older English Bulldog in his home, and his owner recently had to take on a second job, leaving her very little time to give Higgs the attention and exercise he needed. In addition, she's had to move back home with her parents who also have two dogs. Higgs has been spending most of his days confined to the kitchen due to his dominant behavior and tendency to chew up anything he can get his little teeth on.

His foster mom reports that Higgs is crate trained and knows some basic commands. He has no health issues and is neutered. He enjoys his toys and a good meal.

Higgs will be working on his manners while checking out the Northeast’s Easter basket. If you’d like to help him with these deportment lessons, please click on the donation button on the left. We’re sure he’ll mention it in his next acceptance speech.
