He's walking!

Gui (pronounced like "ghee", the delicious clarified butter used in Indian food) was adored by his former owner, a struggling actor who is often on the road. Gui was laid low with a couple of severe health setbacks involving his spine, and his owner realized he had nowhere near the time or the money to be able to provide Gui the treatment needed if he was to ever regain his mobility and health. This young man raised $1000 among his friends to help with vet costs, and surrendered Gui to FBRN. Gui had an MRI, which diagnosed his bad disc and syringomelia. Surgery and a week of specialized physical therapy in a rehab center, and months of follow-up PT are Gui's best hope for a full recovery and chance to start fresh. Gui already has $5000 in vet expenses for his MRI's, surgery and rehab. The $1000 raised by his former owner helps a lot, but this sweet frog is still drowning in vet bills.
