The economy's downward spiral has produced yet another victim. Meet Garbo, a Frenchie rendered homeless when both her mom and dad lost their jobs and soon afterward, their home. We send them our sympathy and our sincerest hope that things will get better for them, and the hundreds of thousands of others like them, very soon.
Garbo has been to the vet and is being treated for a bad case of demodex, yeasty facial folds and a bladder infection. Stress really does a number on our froggy friends, folks!
Apart from her medical issues, which we'll clear up toute de suite, Garbo is a very good girl. We are having a hard time getting some good photos of her, because like her namesake, Garbo just wants to be left alone. She has no patience with the paparazzi! While she's in foster care, we'll be working with Garbo on her leash and crate training. She's very food motivated, so she should be stepping pretty in short order!
