Here they come, two by two! Lately, pairs of little frogs have been marching through our virtual doorways and into our real, loving foster homes. This latest toothsome twosome sports names reminiscent of a sixties folksong. Francesca is Frankie for short. She and her partner, Dooley, were surrendered when their folks moved across country, but had no room in their caravan for Frenchies.
They are both big kids at 30lbs each. A total love, Dooley is crate trained, housebroken, and gets along with other dogs. He is all wiggles and wags when he sees you, but spares no kisses. He likes to play but would rather grab a bone, sit on top of the sofa cushions and chill. Dooley has raging allergies and his poor little belly is all red and irritated from rubbing on the grass, dog beds and the floor. He will be going to the vet as soon as possible, but his foster mom is working hard to keep him clean and itch free.
Busy bee Frankie LOVES to play with the other dogs. She is a beautiful pied, but is a moving target and is challenging to photograph. Frankie has some resource guarding issues and is not as well housebroken as Dooley. She loves to snuggle and makes up for his stinginess by giving lots and lots of kisses.
Frankie and Dooley are singing a tune that plucks on our heartstrings. Won’t you help Dooley get the treatment he needs for his allergies? Frankie can work on her potty skills while she is waiting for him to emerge “all clear.” Please click on the duo’s faces to the right to put some dough in their little tin cup. |
