Emmitt is yet another frog amongst the influx of rescues we’ve been inundated with recently. This handsome fawn guy has decided he needs to make himself stand out from the crowd, and has decided to do that by proclaiming himself quite the character. So much so that his foster mom has nicknamed him Conan O’Brien.

Emmitt has quickly adjusted to his foster home and everyone in it. He’s a bouncy, happy-go-lucky frog who appreciates life outside of his crate. Bedtime is not received well by Emmitt, as it equals crate time and that involves a temper tantrum. His foster mom reports lots of howling and screaming! We’re thinking everyone must be sleeping with earplugs.

Housetraining is a work in progress for Emmitt. There have been some potty accidents, but he’s a smart boy who wants to learn and he’s getting much better. Emmitt also needs to gain a few pounds so not all of his time spent in foster care will involve unpleasantness such as training and crating. We’re sure that there will be lots of treats and eating going on to put some much needed bulk on this boy!

If you could dig deep to help out just one of the many, many Frenchies coming into our care, it would go a long way. Perhaps a little something for a Nylabone or a peanut butter Kong to keep Emmitt quiet in his crate at night so his foster family could get some sleep? We’ll bet they’ll all appreciate it!
