Desiree was rescued from a breeder or small puppy mill in the Midwest by a Good Samaritan. We don’t know much about Desi, but our vet made some educated guesses. “She seemed very frightened when I picked her up. She is starved for human affection, but does seek it. We have not seen any suggestion of aggression, and no problems when our dogs looked at her in her crate. Desiree spent some cuddle time on my husband's lap.” Ah Desi, you’ve already got a man wrapped right around your little paw, don’t you?
Desiree is only two years old and is fairly healthy. She will need some routine care to take care of things like worms and crusty skin, and of course, a spay surgery to make sure she will never again be considered a puppy factory.
