Everyone give a warm welcome to Darla! She’s the new kid on the block, and ready to start a brand new life, free from the confines of a shelter.

Darla is 8 months old and as sweet as can be. And being sweet is no easy task when you’re not feeling well. Like many of our foster kids, Darla is plagued with demodectic mange and is fairly itchy at the moment. Her foster mom also reports that her eyes appear swollen, so in addition to a routine vet check, Darla will have her eyes examined.

Darla’s time in foster care will be spent restoring her health and building her confidence. This girl is so shy that when she gets nervous she vomits and has explosive diarrhea. My goodness! Someone is going to need lots of love and cuddling.
