Look who’s come dancing into FBRN! Danci is an adorable little fawn girl with a huge heart and nothing but love to give. This tiny dancer was surrendered by her loving owners who were no longer able to care for her. She came with all the trappings of an adored family pet, so we’ll just be working on diagnosing and treating her spinal issues. And she really is teeny. Danci weighs a mere 13 lbs, but she should probably even be a little lighter. Her new foster mom is zooming around the yard with her on a regular basis, so she’ll be fit and trim in no time.
Danci may have spina bifida, but the vet will need some more information before he can give a definite diagnosis. Danci is a perfect patient, allowing the vet to do whatever he needs and only giving snuggles in return. And kisses! She LOVES to give lots and lots of kisses. Danci has limited use of her back legs and is currently incontinent. We’ll keep everyone updated as we know more from the vet as to whether this is permanent, or if there are options for improvement. But don’t you worry! Danci doesn’t let any of it slow her down. Her indomitable spirit and infectious energy make you forget all about any issues she may have. And aside from her spinal issues, everything about Danci is pure perfection.
