Cupcake is glad to be alive today, and we’re glad she found her way to FBRN. She was brought in to a veterinary clinic to be euthanized due to her severe allergies. Luckily, a vet asked to keep her to give her a second chance and the owners agreed. The vet tried to find her a home, but there were none that were quite the right fit, and so this cute little lady was surrendered to FBRN. We promised the vet we’ll keep working with this girl until she’s ready to find the right home!
Though this tender little morsel is sweet as can be around people, she desperately needs some help learning to peacefully co-exist with dogs. As it stands now, she wants all the human attention and toys all to herself, and really who could blame the girl?
One of the primary goals will be to get control her allergies as best as possible and allow her to grow back some of the hair she’s lost from being so itchy all the time. Her foster home will also be serving up some nutritious and delicious food to put a little weight on her too thin frame.
