3/15/12 UPDATE
We wanted to update you on Coquette and her condition. Coquette won't go to the available page for a little while yet. She requires nares and palate surgery before that can happen, and then she has to recover (that won't take long). Meanwhile, if you are interested in this young beauty, consider dipping into your pocket and flinging a doubloon or two in her direction to help with the cost of her surgery. She'll surely give you a little wink in return. That's what coquettes do!
Meet cute, perfect, Massachusetts foster pup Coquette! She is the sweetest little black-brindle girl! Sadly, when her owners had twins, they no longer had enough time to spend with Coquette. They knew she deserved much better and tearfully surrendered her to FBRN. Coquette was much loved by her former owners and they sent her off with all of her toys, her bed, crate, food, treats, and vet records. Coquette loves all people and other dogs. She is very playful and as soon as she entered her foster home she was racing around the place with her little stuffed hedgehog in her mouth.
Coquette seems to be very healthy, aside from an ear infection. She chews her feet a bit, and her hair is very thin in her hind legs. Coquette’s foster mom is switching her to a grain-free venison diet, so hopefully that will really help her out. Coquette is also a very noisy breather and her breathing is being closely watched.
Once this little girl’s ear infection is cleared up we hope to see her over on the available page. If you would like to sponsor her and help her on her way, click on the photo of her doing a teddy bear impersonation at the right. She sends kisses to you all! |
