Say "bienvenue!" to adorable, teeny tiny 3-year-old Cloet. This pocket sized beauty was tearfully surrendered by her owners when they were unable to resolve her skin issues and inability to gain weight.

Cloet is 13.5 pounds of love and snuggles. Our vet thinks that she only needs to gain about 1.5 pounds to be at a healthy weight and thinks that her skin issues are infections exacerbated by the presence of yeast. She is currently on antibiotics, ear drops, medicated shampoo, and an antifungal. She is heart worm negative and will be getting spayed when her skin clears up a bit. Cloet is also urinating quite frequently and even has accidents in the night. She is currently having her urine tested and other tests run to determine what might be causing this. Her foster mom is now having her sleep with diapers on so that Cloet does not wake up wet in the morning.

In her Massachusetts foster home, Cloet has proven to be a total love bug and a very happy dog. She currently has a little bit of separation anxiety and makes a bit of a racket when she can't see her people. Hopefully once she is settled in and gets to meet the resident dog she will not feel so lonely when her foster parents leave for work. Even though Cloet obviously has several health issues that are making her uncomfortable, she seems to be in good spirits and snuggles with her foster parents and loves to sleep on their laps while they work on the computer.

Cloet will be needed additional medical care before she is able to go to the available page. If you would like to sponsor this adorable little girl and help her on her way, just click on the photo of her at the right. Cloet sends you all petite Frenchie kisses.
