Handsome, happy go-lucky Chumley was one of 12 Frenchies FBRN was asked to place following the closure of a combination puppy mill/illegal drug distribution business.

Like the other adults from the puppy mill, Chumley has heartworm, and is being treated for it. He also has fungal infections in both ears, and a gutful of freeloading parasites. This boy will also have to be neutered, but that operation will have to wait until after his heartworm treatment is complete.

The vet thinks Chumley is 2-3 years old. His foster family attests to his loving temperament with people, and though he hasn't met the resident Frenchies yet, for fear of passing along the disease, he sees them from time to time through the windows and never even barks! What a good boy he is!

He's got lots of things to learn about in this new, wide world: laps and toys and comfy beds and soft voices.
