“O Captain! My Captain!”

Welcome a new Frenchie aboard the SS FBRN. Though our good ship is being tossed and buffeted by strong winds and falling frogs, we have nonetheless picked up another good sailor. Meet Capt. Mac, surrendered because he wasn't getting along with his owner's boyfriend. While the owner feared that Mac's male-focused antipathy was directed at all men, our foster mom hasn't found that to be the case. However, as dogs settle in to their foster families, we know from experience that some behaviors can be submerged for a while, then resurface as the foster feels more at home.

Somewhere in his voyages, Capt. Mac picked up something funky, and he's going in to the vet asap following the holiday weekend to have those spots on his hide looked at. Meanwhile, he's getting along very nicely with the Frenchie in his foster home, and he's making friends everywhere he goes. He's a very clingy Captain at present, but once he figures out his new space we are hoping he'll relax a bit. He does love people, we can see that without a spyglass, and he's going to find that his journey to a new home is clear sailing. Raise a cup of grog to Capt. Mac with us, and if you are so inclined, you can toss him a doubloon or two by clicking on his photo.
