It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Super Buffy! This high-jumping, high-energy little Frenchie has moved right into her foster home, exploring it by leaps and bounds. Well cared for and beloved, she was surrendered by her previous owner when career and travel kept Buffy in a kennel most of the time. A two-and-one-half year old darling, brindle pied Buffy came with her bags packed full of prized possessions.

Buffy is tall, lean, and incredibly athletic. Her one speed is “on” and she experiences life with enthusiastic abandon. Her idea of jumping on the sofa is to bounce – whoopee – from the floor behind the couch to a perfect four-point landing on the cushions. On a “gettin’ to know ‘ya” stroll around her foster parents’ neighborhood, she burst into a local dog-friendly bar and sprang up onto a barstool. Rewarded with a treat, she didn’t want to leave!

The two resident dogs, normally laid-back fellows, don’t quite know what to make of this flying frog. After some initial exploratory sniffing, everyone is settled into an amicable peace and they watch in wonder as she moves about, here and there, darting into a handy lap for snuggles and a kiss before heading off again. She’s a sweet girl, eager to please, who bounds into bed with her human foster siblings when nighttime rolls around.

It remains to be seen whether Buffy will infuse her foster family with some high-voltage energy, or if she will adapt to a slower pace when the novelty is gone.
