Autumn is a 15-pound, 7-year-old former breeder with many issues. As you can see in these pictures, Autumn has a very large teat (tumor?), and what looks like a hernia or two, as well as some skin issues. What you don't see is that she only has two rotten teeth in her whole mouth! Her breathing is loud and labored and we have no idea about heartworms or intestinal parasites, yet. Autumn also had a toenail growing into the pad of her front left foot and on top of all of that, she is having some "female troubles" as well. The plan is to get her to the vet ASAP for evaluation to begin her healing process.
All of this, and she still LOVES people. Until we know more about her health and temperament issues, Autumn is enjoying soft beds (two in case she wants to switch), access via doggie door to a fenced run, and all the good, soft food she can eat. We are doing all we can to save dogs like Autumn from another cold night of dealing with painful health problems. Your donations will help her get the treatment she needs.
