Ace definitely holds all the cards! He was sadly surrendered to FBRN due to fighting with the other Frenchie in the household. No one was really sure who started the fighting, but Ace seemed to end it with the other Frenchie having battle scars on his face. Both just turned 1 year old. With a new human baby in the home, the family said something had to change and unfortunately Ace lost out, but in the end we think he will be the winner!
Ace was purchased over the Internet and shipped to his previous owner. He is currently fostering in Michigan. This little guy is just the sweetest little brindle bundle of joy you could imagine! He has been in his foster home for just a short time, but so far he has adjusted well. He was introduced slowly into the current pack and seems to be getting along well with his foster brother and sister.
Ace is neutered, up to date on shots, and appears to be a really healthy laid back guy. His foster dad has only seen one act of aggression (not related to the food bowl) and that may have been anxiety for fear of losing his new favorite toy. He is a bit food aggressive and could probably eat until he popped, but those behaviors will be easily corrected while in foster care. There are lots of toys and bones to chew on in his foster home and Ace seems perfectly content moving from toy to toy chewing away.
