As Zalinda makes her debut on the available page, we hope the website doesn’t crash due to heavy traffic. This dreamy creamy girl was surrendered because one of the kids in her former family developed terrible allergies. Now it’s time for this little one to find her forever home.
This floppy eared girl is sweet and shy and needs a peaceful home environment where she can enjoy the company of her people. Zalinda startles easily and is afraid of loud noises, so she is looking for an adult only home.
She very much enjoys the company of other friendly dogs and happily co-exists with the 2 English bulldogs in her foster home. She would also do fine if a family includes a dog savvy kitty.
Her ideal home would be an adult home with a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. She loves going on walks, but would not do well in a city situation with a lot of traffic and honking. After her walk, her idea of a good time is cuddling with her people on the couch as they sip their morning coffee and maybe slip her a treat or two.
Zalinda is crate trained and house broken. She can get a bit defensive about her food, so she peacefully eats in her crate with no worries about sharing her meals.
While ideally, Zalinda would join a home where someone works from home, she would also be fine waiting at home as long as she has a doggy friend to help pass the time. She would not be a good candidate for a take to work dog, if the workplace is a busy environment.
In short, Zalinda simply wants an adult only home in a quiet neighborhood. Her idea of a good time is cuddling with her family and taking naps on assorted soft surfaces throughout the home.

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo. Except in rare or unusual cases, adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family. In rare or unusual cases, FBRN may be able to assist in transporting a dog to a volunteer near the adopter's home, but the expense of transporting the dog must be the responsibility of the adopters.
