This wee frog is ready to leave his wandering days behind and settle down with a family of his very own. Walker was found as a stray, a small dog wandering around a big Texas city all alone.

Health wise, Walker has proven himself to be an easy, low maintenance type of guy - with the exception of the “requisite” Frenchie allergies, of course. Walker’s facial folds will need to be cleaned on a regular basis in order to avoid any yeast or bacterial infections, and his allergies may get better or worse depending on where he relocates. Walker is currently taking an antibiotic and receives medicated baths. He also has a topical spray for his hot spots. The spray and shampoo will cost approximately between $25-$50 per month depending on the season and location.

Young, active families please apply! Walker is a very, very busy, energetic frog! He loves life and is always on the go. Walker needs lots of exercise – mental as well as physical - so a family who takes regular daily walks and will include him in their weekend outings would be ideal.

Walker currently lives with a few foster canine siblings and loves to play and wrestle with them. He does not have one aggressive bone in his body. Walker responds very well to the ‘no’ command - this sweet boy just wants to make his person happy. All he wants is to play, be loved and be lavished with attention. Besides romping with the other dogs, Walker loves to play with toys, and has a large variety that he really enjoys. Every once in a while he’ll be a stinker and test an object that’s not his to see if foster mom will allow him to play with it.

The ideal home for Walker would be with an active family that already has another young, playful, friendly dog. A home with a fenced yard where Walker and his playmate could get outside and romp unfettered are high on his wish list.

Walker is housebroken so that makes him a fairly flexible frog. He would love his person to be at home doting on him all day long, but he would be equally contented with a mid-day break while waiting for his person to return from the daily grind. Or, if your office is dog friendly, Walker would be happy to accompany you to work!

In rare or unusual cases, FBRN may be able to assist in transporting a dog to a volunteer near the adopter's home, but the expense of transporting the dog must be the responsibility of the adopting party.
