Allow us to present to you the king of kisses, the emperor of embraces, the boss of busses, the autocrat of osculation: Smoochie! Smoochie is a kissing fool, and he loves the flavor of his friends. His kisses are not your typical big ol’ sloppy dog kisses. Oh no! He loves to kiss with his lips pressed to your face. He does this any chance he gets. Try to watch TV, bend down to pet him, or go to sleep and Smoochie’ll plant one on ‘ya.

All is not love and kisses in Smoochie’s world, though. He's got some less charming peccadilloes too. Inside his own little castle he has a zero-tolerance policy towards male dogs and is very food aggressive with both males and females. A forever home should feature Smoochie as the only poochie. No kitty cats either, as his prey drive is way too strong.

Smoochie-boy also has terrible allergies which were causing him trouble with both his ears. His previous owners surrendered him to a vet as they could not afford the ear surgery it seemed he needed. Happily, an industrious vet tech did some research and found an experimental procedure with an excellent success rate in tests. After three weeks in treatment, et voila!, Smoochie’s ear canals opened and they could be cleaned. He is doing just fine now, but he will have to stay on Purina HA or Science Diet ZD food to maintain his ears.

The new, improved Smoochie just recently had nares surgery as well. Before and after pictures show an astonishing difference in his nostrils’ openings. Post surgery he delights in drawing in deep breaths of fresh air and sniffing the world around him. “The better to kiss you with, my dears,” he declares.

Relaxed and easygoing, Smoochie loves to lounge about with his folks watching TV or rolling on his back for a belly rub. The gentlest little soul, He loves kids of all ages and is very kind and tolerant with them. Take it slow and easy and he’ll walk right by your side on a leash. Oddly, outside the house on his leash he is not aggressive towards other dogs. “The simple life is good for me,” declares Mr. Smooch, who likes a nice car ride or a nap as long as you’ll be there too. He’s a model patient who loves trips to the vet, and sits quietly for any procedure.

Any place with you would be paradise for Smoochie. He could make himself at home in a house or apartment. He is very well housebroken, and requires just his relaxing walks for exercise. He is crate-trained too, but lets out piteous girly cries when crated. The crate really isn’t needed as he will wait patiently for you to come home for a mid-day break. A perfect go-to-work pal, endearing Smoochie will sit contentedly at your feet.

Smoochie’s a hunka burnin’ love who doesn’t ask for much. Lips to kiss, a lap to lie in and lots of belly rubs will do the trick. We ask only that his forever folks have some experience in dealing with Frenchie allergy problems and commit to sticking with his special food.
