Rex is a healthy, happy Frenchie boy whose gorgeous smile just lights up a room. And he hardly ever stops smiling! Rex seems more comfortable now in a house where he doesn’t have to compete for attention. He was originally surrendered when he began acting out after the birth of a baby in his home.

Rex loves kids and gets along well with them, but his exuberance for life might be too much for very young children. He’d love to have some school-aged human siblings, so he can romp and play and have even more people to love. Rex has gotten along well with his four foster canine siblings, but because he covets attention from people and just can’t get enough, he’ll probably be happiest in a house where he can be the one and only. It can be hard to share the spotlight, don’t you know, and this handsome boy shines very brightly on his own.

Rex is a WONDERFUL dog! He loves obedience training, and he knows several commands, including sit, stay, down, and heel. Good looks and brains? Who could ask for anything more? Rex’s favorite things to do are to play fetch or tug-of-war. He thinks squeaky toys are divine, and he just loves shaking stuffies silly. His forever home absolutely must give this silly man lots and lots of toys to play with (stuffies and tennis balls, please!) He also really enjoys long walks around the neighborhood. But his absolute favorite thing to do is love and cuddle. Rex gives the best hugs, and his new family will be so lucky to get lots and lots of wonderful doggy squeezes.

Rex is housebroken and crate-trained, and he is very trustworthy in the house. He is eager to please, so he’d love to continue his obedience training and find more ways to make his people happy. Rex doesn’t have any temperament issues. He would like to have an owner that will not only spoil him rotten, but also be a good leader. Rex likes structure and routine, and would do best with an owner that is anxious to provide this kind of life for him.

Ideally, Rex would go to a home with an active lifestyle that would want to include him in all their activities. He’ll be the perfect companion for outdoor activities like camping or hiking, and he would also love to be the cheerleader on the sidelines at sports events. He would do fine in a home where his people work, as long as he could have a mid-day potty break. He would also adjust nicely to the hustle and bustle of an office, so he’d love to help you with your day job.

Rex is an absolute love, and he deserves the very best. If you’d like to have his million-dollar smile and fun-loving, adoring personality as part of your life, apply for Rex now. He’s looking forward to sharing your bed and sharing your life. Rex is being fostered in Kansas and will not be shipped.
