Look at that pretty girl sitting in the couch! A spry seven year old, Miss Millie just loves hanging with her peeps. Eager to please, she is a sociable little companion following her family around faithfully. Her list of happy things to do includes cuddles and going for walks. Social butterfly Millie was spotted at a Fourth of July picnic taking in all the festivities with aplomb. And, guess what? She loves kids!

A typical Frenchie diva, Millie would prefer to bask in the limelight of attention without competition from other pesky canines. She came from a home with four Chihuahuas and squabbled with them often, even biting one. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or other critters for her either, please.

Adaptable and easy going, Millie is quite low maintenance for a Frenchie. She is healthy, not destructive, and housebroken. When moved to her foster home, she marked her new territory a few times but stopped after the first couple of days. Millie can’t be crated. She was never crate trained and will harm herself trying to escape. Gating doesn’t work either as she easily jumps over. But she is such a good girl, once she gets used to her forever digs she could have the run of the house.

There’s no place like home as far as Millie is concerned and it doesn’t have to be fancy or large. Apartment or house, fence or not – it is all good to her as long as she is loved. Someone who is home all or most of the day would be ideal for this little gal. She would make a great companion on the job, whether you work at home or in an office as long as there aren’t any other dogs nearby. At the very least, Millie will need a potty break if there is no one home during the day.

Millie’s foster dad says she is a sweetheart who has been a joy to have around. Now she’s ready to find her always and forever home. She’s waiting in Massachusetts for someone who will appreciate her special charms. You can stop for a lobster roll, but you’ll have to come get Millie in person as she will not be shipped.
