*****Link has a bite history*****

One look in Link’s eyes and you are lost. The frog with the sweetest face is back with us for a second time, looking for a new home that will take into account his special needs.

Link is a very handsome 2 year-old black and white pied frog. He is a big boy at 30 lbs, and is neutered, crate-trained and housebroken. He is being treated for environmental and food allergies and is maintained with medication right now. His forever family will need to be vigilant in keeping Link on a regimen to keep those allergies under control.

Link loves to go on walks, play ball and hang out with his humans. He walks well on a leash, and has had some prior obedience training. He would benefit from further training and challenges of a similar sort. He may also be a dog that would enjoy agility classes. He has a collection of toys that he enjoys, but is also very fond of hanging out on the couch with his person. He would love to have a fenced yard to frolic in and indulge in those infamous Frenchie zoomies. Link will tolerate other dogs, but probably lacked proper socialization early on. If he is introduced carefully, he could do all right with another dog. Cats do not seem to bother him.

Link enjoys being with his people the most, so someone who could stay at home or work part-time would be best for Link. He could probably adjust to going to work with his forever person as long as stressors such as other dogs were minimal.

You may ask, why is such a handsome, well mannered frog with us? Well, Link has a major issue in life and that is with little humans. Link just does not like children. No one is sure where Link’s dislike of the younger population comes from. Could be he had a bad experience with one early in his life, or it could be that their sudden moves and loud voices scare him. Whatever the cause, Link absolutely must be placed in home without children. He has bitten children in the past and seems to be unable to resolve this problem. He will need a forever family that is committed to keeping him away from children to protect both them and Link.

Link is in search of a forever family that is committed to helping him with his issues. He has a lot of love to give his forever people and his foster family is committed to helping him find just the right family. Some dogs prefer adult company only, and Link is one of those. Link’s foster family has been working with him and will continue to work with him as they search for the right home for Link. He becomes very attached to his people, so the second time around for him will hopefully be the perfect match.
