Kipper came to FBRN when his former owner realized puppies took a lot of time and energy. Well, their loss is your gain because Kipper is a super snuggly wonder buggly little bundle of puppy awesomeness!

Kipper is as healthy as a horse and thinks every person or pet he meets just might be his new best friend. Kipper thinks kids are the greatest thing since sliced bread, and he would LOVE to live with kids of any age. He’s fine with cats, but it’s more of a I’ll-do-my-thing-you-do-yours kind of situation. Either that, or those cats better be ready for some serious playtime! Kipper also loves dogs, but he does best with big dogs who know not to let this little whippersnapper get too big for his britches. With small dogs, Kipper has a tendency to be kind of bossy and pushy. So, it won’t surprise you to hear that Kipper wants to be in charge. He needs a strong leader who will give him firm but gentle guidance as he grows up and becomes the awesome dog he’s meant to be. This little guy is PLAYFUL, so be prepared for some tug, wrasslin’, chase, and on and on and on. You name it; he’s up for it.

Because he is so young, Kipper is still working a bit on the potty training. He’s about 90% there, using a potty pad when his foster mom is gone and always going outside when she’s home. He’s almost there! Kipper has not used a crate, but his foster mom reports that is because he doesn’t need it. What a good baby! Kipper also knows “sit” and “stay”—not bad for a wee bitty puppy!

Kipper’s favorite things are to wrestle with the resident Boxer in his foster home and play tug with her. He also really likes to chase things—balls, toys, other dogs—so fun toys and playmates are a must! And like a good Frenchie, Kipper also loves his Nylabones. He’d love to have someone home all day, but he does just fine at home when his foster mom has to work. A mid-day potty break would be ideal, but he can use potty pads until he’s old enough to hold it for the whole day. Of course, with that kind of puppy energy, it’s be nice just to have some running around time in the middle of the day!

Kipper is a serious exercise junkie. He goes for multiple mile-long walks with his foster mom every day, and he’s still ready to go shooting across the yard with the other dogs when he gets home. A fenced yard would be awesome for him, but if you don’t have one, be prepared to start your new exercise routine!

Kipper’s foster mom speaks lovingly of him: This little guy is a precious, sweet baby! He is a dog's dog. He wants to be with the big dogs all the time. He won't even sleep with me anymore because he wants to be in the middle of the pack! He is uber playful, and a lover of Nylabones, stuffies, and long walks. He is absolutely great with my toddlers and doesn't seem to have any prey drive at all. Squirrels, cats, anything, he just wants to play with it. Build up your stamina for this little guy!!!
