Little Dapple came to FBRN from a backyard breeder, and boy is she happy to be in better circumstances now! Fortunately for her, the only issue that still remains as a result of her former life is a yeast infection in her ears. And even better, the infection is clearing up great and she’ll be perfect in no time. And did we mention that she’s gorgeous? Quite the head-turner, she is!

Dapple has a winning personality, too. She just loves all people and dogs, but because she has only recently been working on socialization, she doesn’t have very good manners yet, and she doesn’t really know how to play. She promises to be a quick study, though, and can’t wait to get to work on that playing part. Dapple has energy for days and is happy and excited about everything. She shows her excitement by jumping, wiggling, kissing, and wagging her little nubbin. Dapple is much more athletic and active than most Frenchies, so she’ll need someone who can keep up with her fast-paced life. She walks great on a leash (hint, hint), so she’d make an excellent workout partner, especially because she doesn’t have any breathing problems or get overheated very easily.

This happy little sweetness is not only a firecracker ready to light up your life, but she is a world class stuffie-hunter. So beware stuffies large and small! Dapple is coming for you, and she shows no mercy! Dapple is trained in how to use a dog door, so she doesn’t have any accidents at her foster home, but she may need some training in how to ask to go out if her forever home doesn’t have a doggy door.

Dapple’s perfect forever family would have older kids in the house to run around with. They would also be committed to working with Dapple so she can become the superstar of her obedience class. Dapple is a smart girl with a lot of energy, so she needs strong but gentle guidance. She’s willing and eager to please! And your efforts will be rewarded with Dapples favorite thing—KISSES! Dapple would be happy in a home with other dogs or as the only dog. She doesn’t need someone home all day, but she would need a walk and a cuddle at lunch if her people were gone all day. Dapple just loves her people and adores attention, so she does have a tendency to bark when left alone. If your workplace is willing, Dapple would be a wonderful go-to-work dog.
