Tiny, mighty Colbie is the quintessential Frenchie girl. She’s full of feisty personality and charm that is sure to delight her fortunate new guardian(s). Strikingly marked, she is a great little frog with looks and sweetness to spare. Only one year old, she has a whole lifetime ahead to enjoy if you are selected as her forever family.

Colbie’s a high-energy girl who presents a tough exterior, but once she settles in she is a wonderful companion and very undemanding. She is both crate trained and housebroken. Although she would do fine in her crate with a midday break while you work, she would absolutely be an asset in your office, as long as she is the one and only pet there. Apartment or house, condo or cottage -- any place would be paradise for Colbie as long as there is plenty of love and belly rubs.

Like many Frenchies, Colbie does have quirks that need to be managed. She was surrendered to FBRN when she and her sister made a great escape and attacked a passing dog. So, if a house is in Colbie’s future, it would be best if the yard were securely fenced. She has a very high prey drive and will go after anything small and fluffy. That means no little critters of any kind for this young lady’s home, please. She might feel inclined to invite them to lunch with the guests as the entrée, if you know what we mean. Her fascination with destuffing fluff extends to toys, so harder toys like Nylabones are good choices for play. She does best with female canine friends, small to medium sized and definitely not…fluffy!

Other than her preoccupation with all things fluffy, Colbie is a precious dog and her foster family has enjoyed their time with her. They add, “Colbie is very sweet when it’s just us. She is quiet and content sitting by you chewing her bone. I think she needs to build a strong bond with her owner, then she will listen even more.”

Anxious to get started on her great new life, Colbie is waiting for her applications to come rolling in. Make sure you have a warm jacket, because she is waiting in Minnesota and will not be shipped!
