Just in time for Mother’s Day, this retired breeder is ready to find a cozy home all her own. Cinnamon is certainly a little girl made of sugar and everything nice, but she also has a little spice to go along with the sweetness.

Cinnamon came to us after her breeder surrendered her to a shelter when her breeding days were over. She is 8 years old, a pretty cinnamon color and is wonderfully healthy. Her foster parent says she is a delightful houseguest in many ways.

Cinnamon is quite laid-back and seems to have adjusted easily to her newfound life. She doesn’t seem to mind kids; she has been around little humans as young as 1 year and seems content to watch them from her perch on the sofa. She will, however, occasionally have a romp in the yard with the kids and likes to sit next to these little people to be petted.

She lives with a teeny Chihuahua and a goofy Lab and she likes to have both around. Like many female Frenchies, she needs to be the one in charge, and any canine siblings should be more laid-back rather than bossy.

Cinnamon enjoys loafing. She is very good at loafing and prefers to spend the majority of her time on her fleece blanket snoozing the day away. Running in the yard holds little appeal for this frog; she would just as soon lie in the sun and watch you do yard work. And as for going for walks, well, that’s fine--if you push in her in a buggy or carry her in a baby Snugli!

Cinnamon has good potty manners, as long as it isn’t raining or very cold out. If it is, then she will try to sneak back inside and take care of her business where it’s warm and dry. Who can blame her? She is crate trained. This frog would make a great office companion. She currently goes to work with her foster dad and is a wonderful co-worker. Many times no one even knows she is there! She could be left alone during the day with a dog-walker at noon, but you better come home with extra snuggles for her.

Her only real problem is a food possession issue, but her foster mom is working on that. She needs to be supervised or to eat alone during feeding time as she is possessive of her bowl and everyone else’s, too!

Cinnamon would be a great dog for a first time Frenchie person. Her needs are simple, and her love is great. While she can be a little bossy at times, she is easily redirected. Her heart can be won with a little Mac ‘n Cheese and a fleece blanket.

How can you say no to such a sweet soul? If you are looking for a quiet companion to spend your days with, Cinnamon may be the frog for you. She is reviewing her applications, looking for that special someone. Is it you?

Cinnamon is currently reclining on her fleece blanket, snoozing the day away and waiting for her dream to come true in NW Arkansas. Plan on meeting her there, as she will not be shipped.
